Susan M. Mooney is a founding partner of the Law Offices of Susan M. Mooney, P.C. practicing law since 1989. Ms. Mooney takes pride in the personal attention she provides to each case and each individual client. In her nearly twenty two (22) years of practicing law, she has concentrated her practice in the fields of personal injury law and probate law. She has devoted a major part of her practice to representing the rights and interests of injured persons, including children, in the field of personal injury law. She has frequently represented persons injured as a result of automobile accidents, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents, slip and fall, dog bites, construction site accidents, medical and legal malpractice. Additionally, in the field of probate law she provides personal legal representation in the areas of wills and trusts, probate of estates, estate planning, elder law, Medicaid Planning, estate litigation and guardianship.

Susan M. Mooney, of The Law Offices of Susan M. Mooney, P.C., 51 Main Street, Suite One, Stoneham, has joined the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA). Membership in the Academy is open to licensed attorneys who are practicing in the area of elder law or who are interested in legal issues pertaining to the elderly.

Attorney Mooney received her law degree, summa cum laude, from New England School of Law in 1987 and undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts State and Federal Courts and the Supreme Court of the United States. Attorney Mooney has practiced law for twenty-two (22) years.

The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys is a professional association of attorneys concerned with improving the availability and delivery of legal services to the older person. With the emergence of elder law as an acknowledged area of practice, NAELA is striving to define the area of practice, establish standards, and create an information network among elder law attorneys. Through NAELA, attorneys exchange ideas and information on substantive elder law issues and the development of an elder law practice. The Academy was formed in 1987 and currently has more than 3000 members in 50 states. In addition to her membership in NAELA, Ms. Mooney is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, having served as Middlesex County Delegate from 1999 through 2001 and currently serving as an arbitrator to the Massachusetts Bar Association's Fee Arbitration Board. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
